Tips on Finding the Best Car Lease

If you have decided to buy a new car, you should know that there are a wide variety of different ways to finance the purchase. Most people who choose to purchase a vehicle do not want to pay for it in one full upfront payment, and instead prefer to make smaller payments over a certain amount of time. This makes it a lot easier to pay for the purchase of a new car without going broke from that initial payment that could have cost you too much to begin with.

When searching for the perfect car lease for your situation there are a wide variety of factors that should be considered carefully before you make any decisions. The amount of money that you will have to pay in each payment on your car lease will depend a lot on the type of car that you are buying. The more expensive your car is, the more you will be paying on each payment, but if the lease is spread out over a longer time frame then each payment will be lower. It is important to find a lease that you are comfortable with and that is flexible enough for you.

If you choose a car lease that is meant to be paid out in full over the space of just a few years, then you will find that there will be more restrictions and you will have to pay more on every payment. Some people prefer this to signing a very long lease, so just take your time to figure out which type of lease would be best suited to your situation. It is also important to recognize that you will typically end up paying more for your car if you get it financed rather than paying everything up front, so this is another thing to consider carefully.

Some financing programs will have higher rates than others, so make sure to take as much time as you need to find the cheapest one available. Also, you will want to make sure that you always pay on time, because some leasing programs are not at all flexible and they will take your car away from you if you do not pay on time. this could certainly prove to be a big problem for you so to avoid this from happening make sure that the payment plan you agree on is within the confines of your budget.

It is always better to stay on the safe side and choose the cheapest car leasing plan available. This will help to ensure that you will always be able to make that payment and that even if you lose your job you will still have enough money set aside to make a few more payments until you find a new job. by approaching the financing of your new car like this, you are much less likely to end up being disappointed. The idea is to make a well-informed and smart decision regarding your specific type of car lease.

Alternative Uses for VW Campervans

The much loved VW camper has been an icon since it's inception over 60 years ago. As the years have gone by the camper has gone by many nicknames including Kombi and Splitty. These days it's not only the name that can greatly vary but also the purpose of the famous Volkswagen Bus.

Whilst the vast majority of campers have remained just that, the enterprising few have modified their vans to suit a variety of purposes...

Wedding Cars - VW campers are a popular choice for weddings up and down the country. You can find fully reconditioned and modified campers to take the bride and bridal party to the wedding venue in style, and with a retro twist to the occasion to raise a smile.

Sweet Shop - one enthusiastic camper owner I have seen has converted their VW into a sweet shop. This camper can be hired for wedding too, but as an unusual addition to the days proceedings as opposed to a form of transport. This camper also attends shows and can be hired for other special occasions.

The Pasty Van - a well known British company have mocked up a number of classic VW campers to use as outlets across the country. These faux Volkswagens can be spotted at a number of destinations including major airports!

Cafe - an unusual take on the roadside cafe, one or two ingenious types use their modified campers as cafes in the UK, bringing warm refreshment to weary travellers and something a little different to brighten their day.

Mobile Bar - One clever enthusiast (and may be more) has turned their camper into a mobile bar available for hire. Another great choice for a wedding or special event, the VW camper has a great many uses when the right owner gets a little inspiration.

Ice Cream Van - I am aware of one especially rare VW split screen that is now being used as an ice cream van. The van is rare in that is is a high top version of the original, not something you see everyday. Now lovingly restored this 1964 VW van be hired out for a variety of occasions.

Of course, may VW campers are still restored to their original glory by owners and companies purely to continue their original purpose - for trekking off into the woods for a great holiday! Due to their diminishing numbers it can be tricky to find a good camper and get it van fully restored, plus there's usually a hefty price tag.

If you are looking to purchase a VW camper to do up yourself there are a number of pitfalls which befall many; we advise you do your homework and talk to someone in the know before making such a purchase. You need to be in it for the long haul and have quite a substantial amount of money put aside for such a project.

If you long for a holiday as a couple or family in a VW camper it may be cheaper and much easier to simply hire one for the duration of your holiday. There are a number of outlets for just this purpose, who have collated and restored a number of vehicles for you to choose from. A much more affordable way to live your VW camper dreams!

Is It More Economical To Buy A Mitsubishi Because The Parts Are Easier To Source From Dealerships?

Most people are tossing the option of buying a car from their budgets, given the other demands that are pulling on their purse strings. With insurance and mortgages to pay off, taking the subway or the bus does not seem so evil a task. However, very few people who relegate the car option 'under the bed' do not perform comprehensive researches on the various car companies available. It is possible to get an economical car not only in the initial purchase but also in the usage.

The Mitsubishi is one vehicle among the finest in the market with many benefits to offer even in these hard times. Not only do you get a car with the latest technology but at a reasonable price and a along mileage. The Mitsubishi has created itself a name in the market for being one of the cars that last a long time whilst offering good service to the owner. Here are some of the reasons why a Mitsubishi is an economical option.

• One down side people experience with cars today is the huge maintenance costs one has to consider. It takes a toll on ones' budget to have a car in the repair shop, more times, than it is on the road. The reasons for such an occurrence could be poor maintenance practices; sensitivity of the car to different road conditions and in some instances the rarity of spare parts.

• Placing the wrong spare parts in your car after a repair is like infusing your body with the wrong blood type. It rejects it immediately and deteriorates the more. Rare spare parts are costly in time and money one great economical advantage of the Mitsubishi is that you can get the spare parts easily from any car dealership. This saves you on time and money because the high supply lowers the chances of exaggerated prices.

• The Mitsubishi series also offers you cars that are fuel-efficient which is a welcome quality what with the constantly rising prices of fuel. You spend less when using the car and have less frequent fill ups.

• The initial cost of the car is also inexpensive. When comparing a Mitsubishi with the same qualities and features as another brand the Mitsubishi comes tops in offering a unique package at a reasonable price. The pricing enables the car to fit your pocket and you can easily buy it at once or in installments depending on what suits you the most. No need to fear getting a car loan when opting for this company you are sure to pay off in time and avoid the nasty creditors.

• The longevity of this brand not only offers you the comfort in knowing it will serve you for a long time but also removes any doubts as to quality and performance when buying a used car. Many dealerships dealing with the Mitsubishi will offer you the choice of brand new and used and if on a tight budget, you do not have to worry about the condition of the used. It will also serve you for years to come.

With all these advantages to enjoy, the Mitsubishi is definitely the economical car to buy!

Locating Second Hand Cars

Many people make the mistake of buying brand new cars when they could be saving a huge amount of money by picking out second hand cars. Second hand cars, or cars owned by someone else previously, are much cheaper than brand new cars, and they hold their value better as well. The first and most important step to getting a second hand car, is locating one. With this guide you should be able to find the car you want for a halfway decent price.

One of the best places to look for a second hand car is the classified ads of your local paper. Papers list new cars on a weekly basis and many of them are listed at pretty affordable prices. Simply grab a few papers once a week and look at the listings that they have. If any of them look decent call the numbers listed with the vehicles.

If looking through papers isn't working out, or you simply don't want to wait for the right car to come along, you can look on the internet instead. Craigslist is one of the best places to start off your search. They have a huge number of listings, it's completely free to use, and the listings are updated several times a day so that you can keep track of the newest vehicles.

While Craigslist is nice there isn't always as much variety as you may be looking for. Common cars are easy to find there, but less common cars may be more difficult. For those you can look at some of the more car specific websites. You may have to travel a little farther to get your hands on the cars listed at these sites however.

There are many free car specific websites across the internet that will help you find vehicles in your general area. These sites are great because they let you enter a search criteria when you first start looking for a vehicle. That means that you can quickly find the car that you want, without having to worry about sifting through a bunch of other vehicles that you aren't interested in.

On top of having great search filters for make and model you can also have them determine the closest cars to you so that you don't have to travel as much for your vehicle that you decide to buy. This means that not only can you take the cost of the vehicle into consideration, but you can get a car that is much closer to you even if it does cost a little more money.

There are plenty of different online car sites, but it pays to use several of them to make sure that you are getting the best possible deals that you can be.

Locating second hand cars is pretty simple after you understand where you should be looking for them. Follow these guidelines and you should be able to find the car you want in no time.

The Cost Of Muscle Car Restoration

This is a question that I get all of the time; what is the cost of a muscle car restoration. The problem with giving a definite answer is that there is no way I can do it. First of all it's not like collision repair where you have a complete system of parts and the times to install them.

Along with general times to repair certain parts of the car. There are just to many factors involved in restoring the classic car, or muscle car. There is no way to simply add times to do certain processes, and install parts.

In a restoration you will be repairing, or replacing most of the parts on the car. It's not just body repair and paint, it's mechanical repair, electrical repair, interior repair, it is not one parts of the car but all parts of the car.

The only way to know what needs to be done on the car is to inspect it first, then start the tare down process. At this point in time the work has already begun on the car, and you have a vested interest to complete the project.

Believe me what they tare your car down to inspect the parts of it and determine what needs to be done, they will find a lot of things to fix. That is what a restoration shop does for a living, they find things that need to be restored, and they restore them.

You need to be prepared for anything that might happen during the restoration process. The cost of a muscle car restoration depends on the extent of the repair work that needs to be done. The price goes up the more that they find to repair.

They might even have to hand build parts for your car if they can't locate them. This is a time consuming process if it needs to be done. In most cases you can find the parts in the after market; these days most parts are re-produced.

I can't explain to you the time involved in bending custom brake lines, and fuel lines to perfectly fit a restoration, or custom car project. There is so much to be done, and in areas that you can't possibly see without tearing in to the car.

I can see rust as it forms on the outside of a car, but think about on the pinch welds of your car. A pinch weld is a weld where two or more panels are joined together. There is absolutely no way to see what's going on in those areas.

How about between your trunk floor and the frame of your car. This is only visible after the trunk floor has been removed.

This is just the start of the things that aren't visible to your naked eye when restoring a classic car, or classic muscle car; there is no way to estimate the cost of a muscle car restoration.

How You Can Get Quality Pre-Owned Cars

Pre-owned cars are normally as good as new cars. Trying to make a choice in a market full of cars can really be hard at times. The first thing that you should do when you need to get a car that was initially owned is conduct a research. This is the only way that you can be sure of the choice you are making.

There are vehicles that are certified. These vehicles are the same as reconditioned used cars. Buying these types of cars is beneficial since it saves you some bucks and also gives you the privilege of owning a well conditioned used car. It is also beneficial in that your car will have been inspected by the manufacturer before you get it. The certified vehicles give a retailer a third opportunity to sell a car which also gives the customer an easy job, of which they can avoid any loss that comes when purchasing a vehicle.

Buying a certified vehicle is similar to buying any other car, but you should be very careful when shopping for the same. Just like new cars, these cars have got brochures. Purchasing this type of a car is similar to buying any other car. Before going for shopping, you should conduct an intense search about the cars so that you have enough information to help you get a good car.

The vehicles that are certified by the manufacturer normally go through rigorous testing and most likely they offer the same benefits that a new car can offer. When you have made a decision on what type of car you want, you can start shopping. A lot of dealers have websites stating the type of cars that they have. What you need to do is ensure that the identification number on the report is exactly the same as the one on the vehicle that you want to buy.

When you get to signing a contract for your car, ensure that you have enough proof that the car you buy is under warranty. Since the car is certified, all costs are included and hence you should not make any payments separately.

Before buying a car, you should try to ask why the car is being sold. Get to know if the car has been involved in an accident before and things like that. This helps you determine how much you should bargain so that you can get it at a fair price.

You need to find a vehicle that perfectly meets all your needs. Get a variety of cars so that you can have a wider selection to choose from. You can try to browse through various web pages so that you can see different types of vehicles that you can get. You can even try to look around in your neighborhood as to find the best make.

Buying one of the pre-owned cars is advantageous since you get to enjoy the same thing a person with a new automobile enjoys but at a much lower price. The key thing is to get a car in good condition such that it will not have any mechanical problems.

Acura EL: Down Memory Lane With the Acura Lineage

The Acura EL was introduced in 1997. The model was identical to the Honda Damani, launched into the Canadian market. The EL was marketed as a midsized entry level semi -luxury car that replaced the Integra Sedan. Manufacture of the sedan, however, continued at the Honda plant in Allison, Ontario until 2001. Its successors; the Acura CSX and ILX have built credible reputations over time. But whether they will live up to the legacy of EL is yet to be established.

1st Generation Acura EL

The first phase of production of the Acura EL was in the period between 1997 and 2000. The model consisted of a four door sedan with a 1.6 liter engine. Its power output reached a maximum of 127 hp at 5,500 rpm, courtesy of the VTEC Honda valve timing technology. The vehicle came with luxury trimmings that were not included in the Honda Civic which was a similar model. The dashboard display had amber LED lighting and standard gauges. Other features included side moldings, chrome door handles, an amplifier and 15 inch wheels.

2nd Generation Acura EL

The Acura EL had undergone a major makeover by the time it was re-launched in 2001. The new model design was similar to the 7th generation Honda Civic. The new, 1.7 liter engine spotting four cylinders with VTEC technology, produced more power and torque. The frontal design was altered and featured new lights while the interior received distinctive leather trimmings. Although the new EL Acura retained the 15 inch wheels, this time they featured multi spoke alloy rims. This new EL came in 2 trims, namely premium and touring. In 2004 this model underwent its final makeover which led to restyled headlights, grille, rear bumper and trunk lid.

CSX

The Acura CSX seemed like the likely successor to the EL. Coming out of the production line for the first time in 2005, it took on a more modern design with a long nose, slightly rounded body and a crease on the centerline of the hood. The car had a 2.0 liter i-VTEC engine that produced upwards of 155 hp. But, though the Acura CSX was arguably one of the best Acura models, its production was stopped in 2011 with news that it would be succeeded by the ILX.

ILX

This is a Honda Civic-based vehicle that can be described as a basic luxury car that has comfort and functionality to boot. The newest Acura car, ILX was launched in 2012. It has a modern aerodynamic design that has built on the design of its acclaimed predecessors. Its 4-cylinder engine produces between 111 hp and 201hp depending on the specific model: Manual, Auto or CVT Auto. The engine technology of the ILX guarantees fuel economy. It has been compared to the civic hybrid due to its efficiency. The ILX continues to receive rave reviews in the crowded entry level luxury car market.

Verdict

All the above Acura models are in the same family. And as far as functionality and design are concerned, each subsequent model has picked up from where its predecessor left. Whether the trend continues, is a question that only time can answer.

Car Accessory Installations

There are several accessories for cars in the market. Customizing cars have become a trend today. For some it is to add a personal touch to their car and for others just a show-off. The installation of these accessories comes out to be quite expensive so here are a few self to do car accessory installations listed below:

CAR ALARM INSTALLATION:

Opening a car lock or door has become just too easy for anyone. It is possible by just using a normal ruler. This has led to an increase in a lot of car thefts. So it has become important to install alarms in cars for their safety and security.

Car alarm installation is a very mazy and complicated process which requires specific knowledge about working with wires. The accessories you require are sirens, LEDs, door opening protection, adjustable shock sensors, and output for parking flash lights, tilt sensors, air horns, door sensors, trunk, hood and door pins, and starter disable relays. For installation: Firstly, choose a suitable place where you can place your alarm, dash light, siren, reset switch. Then collect materials like solder gun, test light, knife, double sided mounting tape and voltmeter. Now read the installation manual carefully which comes with the alarm. The important things to be careful about are LED positioning, placement of the alarm module and the wiring. If these three are done correctly your alarm will function properly.

CAR STEREO INSTALLATION:

If the car stereo installation professionals charge you a good deal of money then let me tell you that you can do this job all by yourself. It is not as difficult a task as it seems to be. All you need is wire cutters, wire stripper, electrical tape, screw wire set and a new car stereo.

Once you have these you are ready to install your stereo.

Firstly remove the old stereo and disconnect the ground cable from the battery. Now connect the positive and negative terminal of the battery to the positive and negative terminal of the new stereo respectively. The negative wire should be attached to the metal and should be screwed in the dashboard near the radio. Cabling strap has a connector attached to it and all the wires should be connected to it. Now you can attach the negative cable back to the battery and fix your new stereo.

CAR AUDIO INSTALLATION:

Car audio is an important accessory in the car and car security system for an enjoyable ride since most of the people are fond of music. Installation of the car speakers is not a tough job; all you need is a little knowledge and common sense. First of all you need to decide as to where the speakers will be placed. The distance of both the speakers should be at an equal distance from the centre for good quality of voice. Choosing a location for woofers and amplifiers is comparatively easy. Wiring is another important part of the installation; you need to buy a correct cable according to the capacity of the amplifier and speakers. A final fine tuning which can be done with the help of the professionals and your installation is done.

The Many Benefits of Leasing a New Car

The popularity of leasing cars rather than purchasing them outright continues to grow and grow, a fact that is more than likely caused by the rather shocking state of the current economy. Should you be considering partaking in this trend, you are likely to be happy to know that doing so actually offers a number of advantages over a purchasing a new car. I will now outline just what those advantages are.

Drive a Better Car for Less

When the average guy walks into a car dealership, his choices are greatly limited by the amount of money that he has in the bank. When you lease a car however, the amount of money that you have available to you can go a hell of a lot further. You are therefore likely to find yourself in the position of being able to finally afford to drive the car of your dreams. Although there are many advantages to leasing a car, this alone is what gets many people excited about the idea.

No Depreciation Worries

As you are likely aware, when you purchase a new car, the level of depreciation when you first drive it off the lot, let alone over the first few years, is no laughing matter. Most estimates suggest that a car can lose between thirty five and seventy percent of it's value during the first few years that it is on the road. When you lease a car however, such depreciation is not your problem. You simply hand the car back at the end of the lease and the dealership is left to worry about the depreciation.

Only Keep the Car While It's New and Reliable

Another problem that is not yours when you lease a car is the excessive levels of maintenance that a car generally requires after the first few years. Most car leases involve you handing back the car after three years and you therefore don't need to deal with such maintenance woes. You simply need to make sure that it stays running during the three years that you actually have it. And because cars are generally at their most reliable during their first three years, you are likely to find doing so both cheap and hassle free.

Significantly Lower Monthly Payments

When you purchase a car using a car loan, the costs of the repayments are generally something that will weigh you down for a number of years. Although, leasing a car involves monthly payments also, the figures involved are generally significantly lower. Most estimates suggest that you can expect to pay as little as half of what you would pay each month had you purchased a car on credit rather than leased it.

A New Car Every Three Years

Finally, at the end of a lease, rather than being stuck with a car that is getting on in years, you can simply lease a new one. You can therefore enjoy that new car smell every three years.

Mercedes Benz - Synonymous With Class

From the 3-wheeled Benz motor car revealed to the world in 1886 to the 1931 Mercedes-Benz 170, touted the first car of excellence, Mercedes-Benz has stood for the ultimate in luxury. The 1950's 300 SL Gullwing, called the world's first "supercar" and the 220 sedan with a crumple-zone safety are both coveted classics today by collectors of used Mercedes-Benz or pre-owned vehicles, and Mercedes-Benz has maintained its brand as the epitome of automotive opulence.

The 1963 600 Limousine, with V8 engine and 300HP, and the 300 SEL-Class that boasted speeds of zero to sixty in seven seconds were classified as safe, quick luxury cars. The 1970 S-Class opulent sedan introduced the first anti-lock brakes. 1980 brought the first airbags and traction control with the E-class 190. All of these models from 1950 through 1970 are coveted used Mercedes-Benz if classic car buyers can find them.

Janis Joplin's song from the 1970's, "Mercedes-Benz," was another jab at the car maker's status, and after four decades the words have stood the test of time. "Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes-Benz?" Brand new, or even a used Mercedes-Benz, gives proud owners a car of quality, safety and class.

Synonymous with class has a double meaning with Mercedes-Benz. Not only fitting as the definition: of high quality, integrity, status, or style; but it has a rather long, and confusing to many, list of "classes" that their automobile styles fit into. From A to T, this list of class acts seems to continue growing:

A = Hatchbacks
B = Multi Activity
C = Saloon, Estate or Coupe
D = Diesel
E = from "Einspritzmoto" or Fuel-injection
G = from "Geländewagen" or Off-road or Sports vehicle
K = from "Kurtz" or short or "Kompressor"
L = Long wheelbase
M = Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV)
R = from "Rennen" or to race, luxury Tourer vehicle (LTV)
S = from "Sonderklasse" or specially outfitted Sedan, super luxury sedan
T = Touring

There are other sub-categories of classes that most Mercedes' fans are familiar with also: CL, CLS, GL, GLK, SL, and SLK, denoting luxury coupe, 4-door, roadster and special or light among other things.

Good used Mercedes buys today include the 1985 Turbo Diesel, a car that some state "lasts forever" and can be converted to run bio-diesel or on vegetable oil. No air-bags in those years, but since Mercedes-Benz was ahead of its time in the safety department, the car is solidly built and one of the safest of the times. The 2002 E320 or E430 4-matic (all-wheel drive) is another coveted used Mercedes-Benz and was the last year for the W210 chassis. In 2003 the W211 chassis was introduced which had some early issues.

Other Used Mercedes for sale and good value buys are:
A 2011 E-Class, 8 cylinders convertible under 20,000 miles sells for about $59,995. A 2009 S-Class like the S63 can be purchased for around $66,995 and a 2007 M-Class, ML500, for $43.995. Great choices for college students and young people wanting to impress: a 2004 E-Class, E320 4-matic with almost 100K miles, $16,995; 2000 E-Class, E430 or 2000 M-Class, ML320, both with well over 100K miles, but can be purchased under $8,000.

After monopolizing the automobile industry in excellence and quality, this automobile had a bit of a downturn in the late 1900's and early 2000's, and lost some ground in the Consumer Report and JD Power lists, but in 2007 there was a dramatic improvement again and they gained high ranks again, surpassing rival Toyota but still behind Lexus.

The Mercedes-Benz trademark three-pointed star surrounded by laurel leaves, is a combination brand merge going way back to the 1880's when both Gottlieb Daimler engineered the first Mercedes (named for his daughter) from a company called Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (DMG) and Carl Benz founded Benz & Cie. Carl Benz used laurel leaves as his signature mark. When Mercedes became the legal trade name in 1903, Daimler's two sons needed a trademark and came up with the three-point star, symbolizing the ambition of universal motorization: "on land, on water and in the air."

After WWI and inflation set in, only the very financially strong companies survived. DMG and Benz & Cie formed a syndicate in 1924 to standardize design and production. In 1926 the company name became Daimler-Benz AG and they combined both emblems resulting in what is still used today with some slight variations. The logo of three-pointed star, surrounded by laurel leaves and words, represents quality and safety on roads all around the world. The name is synonymous with class, tradition, innovation and the future of automobiles.

Toyota Etios Twins All Set to Be Launched in Brazil

Toyota Motors conceived the Etios platform specifically for the emerging markets like India and other countries. Toyota launched Etios sedan and hatchback in Indian car market first and the Japanese auto maker is all set to intromit these cars in other global markets. Toyota began exporting Toyota Etios sedan and Toyota Etios Liva hatchback to the South African auto market in the beginning of this month. And now the Japanese auto major eyes to launch Etios twins to Brazilian car market. Toyota instead of exporting India made cars to Brazil is planning to manufacture Etios twins in Brazil through a separate production unit. Toyota can commence the production of these cars in Brazil from the month of June and Etios twins can go on sale from August 2012.

Toyota Etios sedan and Toyota Etios Liva hatchback will be produced and sold in Brazil. Toyota could equip an ethanol compliant petrol mill to Etios twins as this fuel is imperative for the Brazilian car market. The ethanol compliant petrol engine will be a major highlight of the Brazil bound Etios sedan and Etios Liva hatchback. Speculations are rife that the diesel powered variant might not be suitable for the Brazilian market. In India Etios twins are a part of the entry level segments because of their low price, similarly in Brazil too these cars will be a part of entry level segments. The Brazil bound Etios sedan and hatchback will also witness certain changes in the interiors and specifications too.

Toyota Motors first launched Toyota Etios sedan in the Indian car market in December 2010, the sedan received good response from the customers by roping in 12,000 bookings within few days of the launch. However, the company launched Etios sedan in petrol guise only, last year Toyota launched hatchback version of Etios, christened Toyota Etios Liva which again was launched in petrol variant only. Looking at the out stripping demand for diesel cars in India, the car maker rolled out Etios twins in diesel guise in September 2011.

The diesel powertrain powering Etios twins is the 1.4 liter D-4D diesel mill. Sales did rev up after the introduction of diesel variant of Etios sedan and Etios hatchback, but still it could not overpower its contemporaries. These are the lowest priced cars from the stable of Toyota, but despite of low price these offerings from Toyota could not impress Indian customers as much as the company had expected. The reason behind this could be the austere styling unlike which other Toyota cars in India. To pull down the cost of Etios twins Toyota has compromised on the quality of the interiors which is not expected from Toyota. Though both the cars deliver high performance and are frugal too. Also the twins offer ample space to the passengers, boot space it good too. Above all these cars come with the reliability of Toyota brand which itself is a big thing. To expand its foothold in India, Toyota is now targeting the rural markets across the country.

How to Cure a Blowing Exhaust Manifold on a 1965 Ford Mustang

As our classic cars cover a lot of miles while out on hire, it is inevitable that occasionally problems develop. They are generally fairly small ones and the key is to resolve them as soon as possible to prevent them from becoming serious problems that will either damage the car or inconvenience the customers. Last weekend our 1965 Ford Mustang GT went out for the day and came back sounding a lot noisier than normal. It is normally fairly loud having aluminum heads, stainless steel exhaust headers and a fairly noisy exhaust system, but there was definitely something wrong. I quickly traced the noise to a blow from the rear of the left hand manifold.

I popped it into the garage that we use for all our routine maintenance, to check out why this happened and he said it is a common problem with steel manifolds on aluminium heads as the bolts just work loose. If you try to do them up really tight then you run the risk of stripping the threads in the aluminium head. He tightened up the bolts which took him all of two minutes, but it was still blowing a little. He reckoned that it had burnt a hole in the exhaust gasket and hoped that the hot gases hadn't burnt the head. The gasket was duly replaced and fortunately the head was undamaged. The noise level is now back to normal but clearly there is a chance of this happening again and I don't want to take the risk of it burning the heads as this would be an expensive problem. So what to do?

A quick and easy fix occurred to me. Most trucks on UK roads now have plastic arrows fitted to their wheel nuts, pointing at each other, so that if the nuts start to unscrew then it is very obvious as the arrows have moved. OK there is no room on the manifold bolts to install an equivalent and anyway being plastic, anything similar would just melt but all I needed was something to indicate if the bolts were starting to undo. Out came a pot of bright red paint and a brush and I have painted the top flat on each bolt.

While this won't stop them undoing, a quick look at the manifolds each time I check the oil and coolant levels on the Mustang and I should be able to see if any of the bolts have moved, and tighten them up before they become loose enough to cause any damage.

Cost - zero, as I already had red paint to hand. Time to fix - about two minutes.

Four Ways That Buying A Luxury People Mover Can Up Your Social Horsepower

Society factors in the cars we drive when forming their impression of us, and a luxury people mover can move mountains. With its high performance factors, comfort details, award-winning safety features, and heart-racing aesthetic appearance, a luxury people mover can practically sell itself. Taking the time and attention to research the features and benefits that best fit your personality is sure to pay off as you step out of a vehicle that seems tailor-made just for you. You've earned your success; show it off.

Driving a luxury people mover not only makes you look good, it makes you feel good. And confidence is an essential part of giving off that successful vibe you've been striving for! Take your reputation to the next level, because people will be watching you with eyes green with envy when they watch you park the thing of beauty you call your next car.

Aesthetics In A Luxury People Mover Are More Than A Glossy Paint Job

It takes more than a shiny paint job to impress people these days. Your vehicle should be equipped with chrome accents, contours that are smooth and innovatively placed, balanced lines and design, and a strength that evokes a feeling of security. Today's vehicles also combine ergonomic comfort with visual beauty, so be sure to test out the actual function of the car's features during your test drive.

Settle Into Spa-Like Comfort With Specially Designed Interior Features

Your new luxury people mover shouldn't just look nice from the outside. When you volunteer to chauffeur your social circle during your next outing, amaze them with heated seats, softly manicured leather surfaces, individual temperature and humidity controls, voice-activated GPS, mobile, and audio controls, and a surround-sound experience. Be careful, though, because they may not want to get out of the car when you arrive at your destination!

Optimise The Performance Options For The Ride Of Their Lives

When you pull up to an event, it's likely that you'll want the quiet purr of your engine to draw some attention. At the same time, thrill passengers with smooth acceleration when you feel the need for speed. Brake smoothly with even short notice, and feel the grip of exclusive traction control take over when you didn't even realise you needed it. All of these features should be considered when shopping for a luxury people mover.

Tout The Safety Features And Awards As Reinforcement Of Your Smart Choice

Talk to your sales person about the safety options included in your vehicle. What awards has it won? How does it compare to other vehicles in its class? Steel construction, front and side airbags, traction control, park assist, and theft deterrent options are all essential to ensuring you arrive not only in style, but safely. Amenities that help you utilise your driving instincts to avoid accidents are just as important as the car's features that help minimise their impact.
